INAUGURAL AWARDS BREAKFAST WITH TENNIS PROS

BRYAN TO BE HONORED
Boca Raton, FL (Feb. 1, 2009) – MatchPoint Ministries (MPM) is proud to announce
the inaugural
Spiritually Tough Tennis Awards Breakfast with the Pros
to be held on Tuesday, February 24th, 2009, on site at the Delray Beach Tennis Stadium
during the 17th annual Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC)
The Awards Breakfast, hosted by Scott Williams, founder of MatchPoint
Ministries, author of “Serious Tennis” and host of the new DVD series,
“Spiritually Tough Tennis”, will honor amateur and professional tennis players
and coaches with the ACE Awards of Excellence for their contributions in service
and philanthropic efforts off the courts as well as their sportsmanship on the
courts.
“We created this event as an outlet to create awareness of the tennis ministry
outreach and to help raise funds to support programs, summer camp scholarships
and activities associated with the local Match Point Ministries as well as
support the MPM Pro Outreach ministry efforts at amateur and professional
tournaments across the country,” said MPM Executive Director Carl Foster.
This inaugural ACE Awards event will feature the honoring of world renowned
Tennis Coach/ Author Wayne Bryan, as Tennis Parent of the Year and Bob and Mike
Bryan, the World’s #1 Doubles team as the ACE Role Models of the Year. Several
other amateur awards for Spiritually Tough Tennis Coach and Players of the Year
will also be presented.
Costs for individuals is a $50 per person donation; $500 donation for tables of
10. Limited seating will be available and the breakfast event will be held at
the beautiful Hospitality Tent on site at the Delray Beach Tennis Stadium during
the 17th Annual Delray Beach International Tennis Championships that run from
Feb. 23-March 1st, 2009.
All attendees will also receive a complimentary ticket ($20 value) to the Delray
Beach ITC event to watch the top seeded, Bryan Brothers, as well as an
autographed DVD of the new release, “Spiritually Tough Tennis” with Scott
Williams. ($29.95 retail.)
